“Anyone who knows Judy knows what a tireless advocate she is for the Somerville community. At the start of the pandemic, she joined the City’s COVID emergency response as the head of our Immigrant Services Unit. Despite coming in during a time of crisis, she seamlessly integrated into the team right away. She was able to forge strong connections within the community and with external partners; more importantly, she marshalled every resource and relationship at her disposal to fight for the most vulnerable members of our community. Whether she’s finding new ways to improve COVID vaccine access, providing personal protective equipment, or connecting people with financial assistance, Judy is an advocate who gets things done. I’m proud to endorse her to be the next City Councilor of Ward 7.“
